MENTOR@SU

Connect with SU Alumni Through Mentor@SU

Have you ever wanted to talk to someone who is actually working in the field you are studying? Have you ever wondered how to get from an entry-level position to your "dream job"? Do you dream of working in a new city (DC, LA, Boston, NYC) after graduation and wish you could talk to someone who already lives and works in that area to see what it's really like? If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, Mentor@SU has something to offer you. The program has an online database of 1500+ SU Alumni who have agreed to share their career expertise with current SU students. Mentors offer career advice and guidance, and informational interviewing and networking opportunities, as well as geographic information. Selected mentors will also critique your resume, help you find internships and job opportunities within their companies, and provide other professional contacts. To learn more about the program, or to schedule an appointment for an orientation with Kelly Lux, Alumni Programs Coordinator in the Career Services office, call 315-443-3616, e-mail your questions to sumentor@syr.edu, or click here to visit the Mentor@SU Web page.
